8th Annual Transfield Worley Services Best Practice Forum 16th April 2008

 Hi,

Overview

Each year we see continual growth in the Forum – both in the number of attendees, industries and countries represented, as well as the quality and relevance of the papers presented.

In March we saw 65 speakers from diverse industry groups openly share their leading practices across common interests such as: Safety, Climate Change, Energy and Skills Shortages.  Our keynote addresses were presented by a number of Australia’s foremost professional speakers who shared with us their experiences and visions on how we, as individuals and as a network can make a difference to the future of our industry and the planet we will share with our future generations.

We are also pleased to welcome new countries; Russia, Saudi Arabia, Chile, United Kingdom and Brunei to the Best Practice Network.

If you have implemented any of the practical solutions shared at the Forum, or you would like to promote any leading practices you are currently using, please email us at info@twsbestpractice.com

  On-line Community

In November 2007 we launched our new Best Practice website and online community for network members.

Six months on, we have close to 500 members from 15 countries and a number of diverse industries that include:  Construction, Defence, Hydrocarbons, Facilities, Government and Infrastructure.

Within the website is a restricted member’s area which contains information on network events, industry news, a library which houses event publications, information on organisations within the network and their leading practices.

To promote the global networking to members, we have created a global address book that contains the contact details of all network members in which you are able to search by demographic or core speciality.

If you wish to promote your organisation or post industry news or publications, please send a PDF document to info@twsbestpractice.com
